Top 5 International Chapter of the Year

This past week, AMA traveled to New Orleans, LA for the AMA International Collegiate Conference. Some students flew, and others drove down early last week in order to arrive before the conference began Thursday. Some of the events in which students competed in were Marketplace Simulation, Sales, Marketing Strategy, SABRE Business Simulation and Perfect Pitch. Along with these competitions, members heard from speakers from sponsor companies, met other AMA chapters across the world, and networked with employers at a career fair opportunity. At the New Orleans International Conference, AMA earned the following awards: Collegiate Chapter Website- 2nd Place, Sales Student of the Year- 4th Place (Charles Steffinga), Chapter of the year - Top 5, and Case Team- Semifinalist.
